A Shark Stunner

The way the San Jose Sharks played Tuesday night, they looked like they had the Physical Ability, The Mental Toughness, and had Control of their emotions, they could take on any team right now and beat them by 2 goals. The way the Sharks played, everybody in that building in Boston thought that the Sharks could win the Stanley Cup. If we continue to play the way we are playing straight through the playoffs, we could even have a chance of back to back Stanley Cups if our roster doesn't differ that much. We got goals from our top producers like Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau, and Rob Blake, which makes us an even bigger threat. The only way to describe the San Jose Sharks style of play is that the "lurk" in the neutral zone and pounce on any of your mistakes. The San Jose Sharks also buckled down on defense after the first period, I am guessing that Todd McLellan gave the team a wake up call in the locker room during the first intermission. Sharks goalie Evgeni Nabokov had a very positive reflection about the game, "The way I feel is, when you don't win, you obviously didn't do something you've got to do, and I think the last couple of games, I didn't make that one key save....and tonight, I made that key save"(Mercury News). Jamie McGinn also had something to say about the heated match up that he was in, even as a rookie, "I tried to make a positive impact on the ice, I tried to be in the right spot at the right time and I almost put the puck in the net. Ryan Clowe was awarded the 1st star honor with zero goals and 3 assists.
